A network HUB is a junction box for network connections, enabling several computers to be included in a network. The HUB is equipped with 5 ports and operates at a 10Mbps transfer rate, which is amply sufficient for a small home network. The housing is provided with magnetic pads, allowing the HUB to be conveniently attached to, for example, a metal (PC) cabinet/desk or cable duct. Suitable for 10/100 Mbps networks, but with limited transfer rate.
